Jaxton's Newborn Pictures

This last week we went and had his pictures done by Caralee Photography. Caralee did a great job! We were really happy with all the pictures. He was so good the entire time. We didn't even have an accident with all the nakedness!! Thanks Caralee!!

One Week Already!

I can't beleive that it's aleady been a week. At the hospital we were told that Jaxton had jaundice. It wasn't high enough that we would have to leave him in the hospital but we had to have him on a billi blanket at home 24/7. Then everyday I had to bring him to the doctors office to have his blood taken. That was super hard on me. I hate to hear him cry that hard! As of today I was able to take him off the blanket, so that was a really good feeling!! Also when I took him in he was back to his birth weight of 8lbs 4oz. That made my day even more. When we were at the hospital the doctor said his length was 20 inches and then 2 days later at the doctors office they said he was 21 1/2 inches long. So I am guessing that the hospital was a little off. He is one long little boy!! Everything else is going really good. I am feeling the exhaustion this week and I think I was running off adrenaline last week. I am so happy to have him here and I couldn't feel more complete then I do now!

He is finally here!! I really thought that this day would never be here. I went in on Sunday night to be induced because I was 10 days over. When I got there I had been having contractions all day about 20 minutes apart so they just gave me a small dose of Pitocin. My contractions got close together but not very painful at all. By the time I got an epideral I was at a 4. At that point I was able to sleep and the next day at 11:30 my water broke on its own and then everything went pretty fast from there. I was dilated to a 10 at 4:00 and then pushed for an hour and a half. For some reason the epideral decided to not work at the end so the last 3 hours of my labor was super hard but I DID IT!! He was worth every bit of it!!

So I have to make something clear! The baby count down says that I have 4 days to go and that is not TRUE!!! I am OVER 4 days working on 5! I am ready to be induced and the hospital does not have room till next wednesday! I then will almost be 42 weeks! AWWW! I am just praying that this baby will decide to come on his own before then and soon! Does anyone have some words of advice or encouragement cuz I need it. I am feeling all sorts of stress and worry!
