5k in May turned into 5k in September

I dont know if anyone remembers but I was planning on running a 5k in May but it continued to get canceled throughout the summer until today! At the first of the week I was told it was going to be Saturday. I felt a little nervous to do it because I had stopped running about 2-3 weeks ago to start another workout called p90x but I decided to just do it! So today I did it! This is the first 5k I have every done and I wont lie it was HARD but very worth it in the end! I still do not know how people every make it past a 5k!

Definitely not glamor shots! :)

This was a huge goal I had for this summer!
(I'm kinda proud of myself!)

Canning Peaches

For as long as I can remember my grandma has canned peaches. As a little girl I would get so excited to come over and eat her peaches at this time of year! So this year I thought it would be a good time to finally learn how to can them! We had a lot of fun just talking even with the little interruptions by Jaxton. He is starting to get into everything and my grandmas cabinets were right at his grasp. He loved every minute of it and even thought it was funny when I would tell him NO!

Trip to Utah ~ Baby Mya's Arrival ~ Labor Day Weekend

The last couple of weeks have been very busy but a good busy! We went to Utah so Jace could take the GMAT test. While we were there we decided to make it a vacation. We stayed in a nice resort and did alot of relaxing. We played tennis and went swimming and then went shopping in Park City for a day. We really enjoyed it knowing it was our last break before school starts. While we were on vacation we found out our niece Mya was born. I was really anxious to see her so on the way back from Utah we were able to stop and visit Justin and Becca in the hospital. I am so happy for them because this is their first girl after three boys. She is a beautiful little girl! The following weekend after we got home it was Labor Day weekend so we went camping with Jace's family. As always we ate well! (Dutch Oven Prime Rib, Corn on the Cob, and potatoes) We also did alot of relaxing there!

We grilled steak one night!
