Colorado here we come!
Jace has 2 semesters left and an internship till he graduates. Recently he went to Denver to look for and apply for an internship. When he came home he was talking about how he didnt think he would get one and that his chances weren't very high because of the economy and because of all the students from all over that were trying for the same thing. Well about a week ago he got a phone call from a company called Richey May, an accounting firm, that offered him an internship. He was not only excited for getting an internship but for the fact that it was where he was hoping for. I am so proud of him and all his hard work! It is definately paying off!! So this Feb. to April we will be living in Englewood, Colorado. We are really excited!
4th of July
This 4th of July was different from most years because Jace had to work all day and then we decided to not go see the fireworks. I was a little bummed about the fireworks because that is one of the things I look forward to all year! The good thing about this year is that I got to spend time with my Uncle, Aunt and their cute kids. We went to the Menan celebration and ate lots of food and visited with people we knew. So all in all it was a decent 4th of July. Now I am looking forward to next year so that I will have a husband all day long and hopefully get to see the fireworks! Heres a cute pictures of Jaxton and his cousin!

Reunions
About 2 weeks ago we went to the Killiam reunion (Jace's side) Every year they get together for a weekend of camping. This year most of the families came a couple days early so it was actual more like a week of camping. Normally Jace and I "tent it" but this year a good friend of ours let us use his camper. It was soooo nice, especially with having Jaxton! We had a great time and we enjoyed visting with family!
On our way there...

First time having a sucker! MESSY MESSY!

Hanging out with Cousin Bri...

Jace's new riding gear he got from Fathers Day! (Lookin good Jace!)

As you can tell this is going to be along post! Only a couple days after we left the Killiam reunion we headed of to my moms family reunion. We went up to my parents cabin and just relaxed and visited! My mom had prepared some fun activies such as a talent show and her version of the "Amazing Race". I never get to see this side of the family so it made it expecially fun!
2nd cousins and only 5 days apart

The babies got ALOT of attention!

In need of a "How to Parent Jaxton" manual
The last couple weeks we have been trying to get Jaxton to go to sleep on his own which in other words means letting him CRY IT OUT! This has been so hard for me! The first night was 30 minutes of crying and then he was out! Now he only cries for about 10 minutes or less! I have been just doing it when I put him down for bed but now I feel like I need to do it in the middle of the night! My only worry is that he might really be hungry! People reassure me he isnt but he screams like he hasnt eaten anything in days! I am posting this to see if anyone out there is doing this and if anyone has some suggestions or words of encouragement.
This is a picture of Jaxton the first night ... this bumper did the trick!
